I bought stuff on TEMU, immediately after I started getting spam phone calls from the numbers I have listed below. Your details will be sold to unsolicited and fake call centres, supposedly calling themselves charities. That is how all the stuff on TEMU is cheap. Here is the list of fake phone numbers that have tried to spam me so far, just in case you get a call from one of them. I have had multiple phone calls from each number, and this started on 25 May 2023 – less than one month has passed since this this post. They are trying to extract details out of you, don't fall for it. As you can see, they are very, very persistent and will cycle through a raft of phone numbers.

Yet another call without a message from a sequence of numbers that’s getting increasingly easy to spot. Some sort of charity call centre, which isn’t doing any favours to the causes it claims to represent.

Same company of "kindness foundation survey" which is based in the Philippines. They usually use the numbers
(03) 4108 9940, 9941 9942, 9943 9659 . BEWARE OF THEM. I have reported them to Telstra, but they are not with that company???

I reject all calls from unknown numbers. This number and other similar ones are allocated to a company called SYMBIO NETWORKS. That company has received an official warning from ACMA, regarding failure to properly investigate reported scam calls. SYMBIO is obviously knowingly hosting scammers, and at the same time thumbing their noses at ACMA. The sooner SYMBIO is hit with some real consequences for their actions, the better! MOST of the calls I receive from unrecognised numbers are from numbers allocated to SYMBIO NETWORKS. They have numbers all over Australia, not just Victoria. If you want to check unknown numbers, look them up at this website -> https://www.thenumberingsystem.com.au/#!/number-register/search

Everyone needs to spread the word to stop buying from that awful company Temu. Only the lowest of businesses advertise on Facebook and Temu has more ads on Facebook than anyone. All their crap just comes from Aliexpress anyway, which means it's also on ebay. So if someone knows how to buy safely from Aliexpress then buy it there, and cheaper, instead. If someone doesn't know what I mean about "safe" then they won't know how - so just pay the same or a little more by getting it on ebay. Let's sink this company back into the sewer they crawled out of.

It's a nightmare. You keep blocking the numbers used by these scammers but they immediately call again on a different one. The elderly and ill are now being phoned as early as 9am by these relentless, despicable lowlifes.
It seems that they have been reported to the authorities. If anyone knows what action can be taken to actually put a stop to it, please do it, for pity's sake. It's outrageous that it's still going on.
In the meantime, as we've been advised so often and for so long, please do not answer calls from unknown numbers. Ever.

Thanks for the info. This is interesting and makes a lot of sense based on my recent experience too. I have had missed calls from this number as well as these below and have also recently purchased from TEMU.
- (02) 8073 5200
- (03) 9961 0282

Will block these now.

Telstra used to market a handset named a "Call Guardian". Replace your home's wired handset with this device, and it blocks all calls unless they are on a Contacts List that you put in the phone's memory. In the case of a nuisance call, the phone will ring once or twice, then stop. The caller's name will show on the screen as "Unknown". If the caller is one of your contacts, the phone will continue to ring until you answer it, and the caller's name will appear on the screen. Every few days, simply use the "Delete All" command to empty the list of calls successfully blocked. Of course, this will only be of use on a wired phone, and does not work with mobiles.
