They ring me a few times a day - I screen all calls through my answering machine anyway so they never get through but it is still pissing me off!

This number calls me up to 3 times per day at all hours! I called back & got a message. They are "CPM Asia Pacific" claiming to call on behalf of AGL in respect to special offer. I'm over this invasiveness!!

I am receiving at least one call a day from this number to my mobile. I haven't answered and they don't leave a message. I'm with Telstra.

These call centre systems call multiple numbers at once. When someone answers the other calls are hung up on....AGL sux

Have just called AGL - it was most likey them (although they couldn't confirm the number was 9955 0062) as there was an issue in disconnecting electricity from my old apartment in early March.

Awesome Nika! Thanks heaps for that, had 3 missed calls and couldn't get through to them. I hate missed calls! I'm with Optus too. I switched to Red Energy about 5 weeks ago, hehe...

CPM would only be contacting you if you have an active gas or electricity with their company, The number used that shows up on your phone is not only used by AGL but many other companies.CPM & AGL do not call you from overseas their call centres are in Wantirna and the CBD!!They would be calling you if A - you are transferring your account to another retailer - They are confirming this for your own account security - as accidental transfers can happenB - If you have one account with AGL they will be calling you to offer you discounts.Their calls are on an auto dialler so they have no control over how many times you are called. If you answer the call and say you are NOT INTERESTED you will not be called again, but if you keep ignoring the calls the dialler will keep calling the number til an outcome. If you arent with AGL at all then answer and tell them that cause it means an error and your number is removed from their system.

its an automated dialer who call numbers. they pretend to be from various companies, mainly AGL. they just hope you pick up the phone. they ask your details. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM! it's a scam. it will ring 3 times a day. everyday and when you pick up you will get a delay before you hear anyone. i just called agl and said every time they call i will just delay paying my bill. Its not a scam i work for CPM the company who does the out-sourcing for AGL. We only call customers of AGL & ask for details to do confirm ID which is 2 different questions only you would know the answer too - this is to protect us releasing YOUR OWN personal information to someone that ISNT YOU if they take the call!! And yeah there is a delay because you pick up then the call drops to one of us. Keep delaying your bill - enjoy the debt collectors and bad credit rating. IDIOT

I had a few missed calls from this number this morning, as well as a 15 second voicemail from someone which started off with 2 seconds of music, followed by "Hello? Hello?". I called it back a few hours later and got a recording stating that it was "CPM Asia Pacific", acting on behalf of several clients, the biggest being AGL. The recording went on to state that they were calling with a special offer. If I wish to call them back, apparently I can do so on (03) 9211 2300 between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. So for those having problems calling back to actually speak to these people, perhaps try that number during those times.
