They work for organisations such as the TAC, WorkSafe and Public Transport Victoria to gather opinions to improve services. Their website also explains that if you are contacted and do not want to participant you can tell them so and they will put you on their internal do not call register. I found the experience interesting and the interviewer friendly and professional.

I worked for them when they were based in Richmond - we did all sorts of surveys for government clients.

Called me at 6:30pm, phone detected possible scam caller. I phoned the number back and it was "Wallis social research". I am on the do not call register however they still called me. Have now blocked the number.
