Caller: Wallis Social Research Caller: Wallis Social Research
This number belongs to Wallis Social Research based in Melbourne. They called me but I was busy so they arranged a suitable time to call me back. They work for organisations such as the TAC, WorkSafe and Public Transport Victoria to gather opinions to improve services. Take a look at their website and you will see that they work for reputable organisations and follow all privacy guidelines. Their website also explains that if you are contacted and do not want to participant you can tell them so and they will put you on their internal do not call register. I found the experience interesting and the interviewer friendly and professional.

Caller: This mob I do not do surveys. I have this number blocked. I consider this as harassment as I have not freely given my number to these people.

If Wallis Social Research get paid to do these studies, why don't they pay us for our time?

Yer. Too many scam callers nowadays, I said sorry but I have no idea what organisation you are with, how you got my number, she knew my name even though I only said hello when I picked up. She was perfectly friendly, however is was 6.15pm my time, I don't live in Victoria, and I have not allowed my private number to be given out.

Caller: Whomever it is I don’t care I’m on the do not call register. Seems a lot of people are getting this caller. Pity I am too considering I’m on the do not call register.

Caller: https://www.wallis.social/participants My 10-second ring was at 8:30 pm, not the best time to ring Melbourne to Melbourne. My only interaction with health etc is not connected with TAC, Worksafe or Public Transport.
The Wallis website has this number listed as theirs. https://www.wallis.social/participants I could have been spoofed with the number. On my mobile, this number is now blocked.
If it is Wallis, they have no respect. I've never given my number to them, nor agreed to any contact. I'm on the government's 'no call list'.

They call me every year to do the same survey as i am part of a study. I have always found the people on the phone really helpful and polite. They tick all the boxes in terms of being legit.
