Had a call today from these people stating they were from a training Department and was researching training techniques for educating people. I told him sorry not interested. he went on to speak about this research and ignore my saying I am not interested and then asked me if he could email me as I was "obviously not listening to what he had to say." I told him "He was obviously not listening to what I had to say" as I had stated I was not interested ( apart from that I was very busy at work) and reinterated that I was not interested and hung up. He needs training in people skills and listening!! Perhaps that is enough feed back for him? Or perhaps not?

I'm buying a whistle and next time they ring I'm blowing it into the phone, over these nuisence callers. An absolute pain in the butt they call daily, it appears to be an auto dial system.

Well Jayne, I believe that any Marketing people have a right to surveying the market, but ringing on Sundays and between 6pm to 8pm is just not on people who have worked all day do not want the phone ringing from market researchers. I think you lot are bending the rules a bit. My suggestion to consumers is not to answer the phone if you don't recognise the number. After all Market researchers who ring home after hours or any time are doing it for money.

Wife thought she heard them say they were from the TAC but then the call dropped out. She thought something bad had happened. When we called back, the number was constantly engaged.

They rang and then hung up the second the phone was answered, ringing random numbers for no particular reason is just rude. What sort of marketing company is this rude ?

Two calls on two consecutive Saturday nights (or Sunday mornings), at 3.20 am & 4.10 am, respectively. I don't care what the company is calling for, this is way out of line and illegal.

Why is "market research" exempt from the DNC Register? If these people came onto your property and knocked on your door you could do them for trespass. Time these people were treated the same way as door-to-door salesmen!
YOU Jayne (!) and your friends at Wallis are not welcome in my home, and I shouldn't have to ask you nicely NEVER to call me even if you think that 8:20 pm is a reasonable time!

This number is for a legitimate market research company who conducts surveys for Local, State and Federal Government as well as other organisations. Market research companies are exempt from the Do Not Call Register.

Have had many hang up calls from this number. Finally spoke to an incredibly rude woman and asked her to be taken off their call register. She tried to tell me that they did not have a call register and that the numbers were randomly generated by a computer. I tried to explain to her that I had already looked up their number and I knew that they had a register. She tried to talk over me and eventually hung up on me. I rang the (03) 8620 5688 number and spoke to an extremely polite lady who told me she would remove our number from their register and also informed me she would go back through our call records in their data base and look into the person I spoke to the first time.
