Painful.... I get calls at least once a week. Always ignore them, and they never leave a message.

It rings a few times a week;and, leaves no message. I suppose the caller wants me to ring back ,which I will never do. It is very annoying.

I have been receiving calls from the SMH at least twice a week some times more. Ive answered in numerous times and told them I am not interested but they still just keep calling over and over and over again. It's driving me nuts.

Someone from The Age trying (not very hard, mind you) to get me to subscribe. They have me on file from a $1 month trial I did a year ago and call maybe every 6 months.

Had these calls several times in the last few weeks. I have a feeling they're 'outbound' call centre employees on an off day. I used to work in a call centre, and this happened a lot. You have to get through x hundred calls per shift, so to speed things up (or if you're not in the mood to talk) you fudge the call and mark it down as 'no answer' or 'disconnected'. Being on the receiving end of this kind of laziness, I now realise, is annoying, but I'd rather get a bogus call like this than have to negotiate with the SMH about a subscription I don't want.

I've been reading the comments and can't believe this number hasn't been stopped from making these types of calls. I just received a call from this number - noone responded when I said "hello", I could hear noise of some sort in the background, they they hang up!!! I dial the number back and receive a recorded message saying "The Age and SMH tried to call you regarding some offers" - I hung up straight away.

The number has called me over 20 times in the last 3.5 days, leaving no message each time or a way to stop them from calling. Tried calling back to see if I could speak to someone but it's a sales pitch voice recording. Very frustrating.

Just received a call from this number, without any message left. My subscription to the AFR Weekend is about to end, so I suspect this is the newspaper calling about a potential renewal of the subscription.

Annoying. They always do this - Fairfax when subscription is about to expire. It's infuriating. First they send email, then they send renewal form in the post, then they try to phone and don't leave message. So unnecessary.
