You can almost be certain it is a scammer

Block the number.

I am away in Japan and this call came up on my phone. I have had mutiple calls before leaving to go away with the same four numbers, but it comes up as a call from Japan. I don’t have anyone at all who would be calling me in Japan. I am fed up with these people annoying me! I am able to silence the calls instantly, but if I tap to reject it while in Japan I get charged international calls from Australia. Why can’t the telcos stop these scammers?

Called three times, they hung up three times. All in the space of one minute. Very odd!
