no message from that number either.

advice: put your phone on https://www.donotcall.gov.au
(do not call register)
probably won't stop optus but will get rid of new junk instances.

unfortunately won't work with this one as she already has your number and mine.

i get the optus call probably because i'm waiting for it to auto jailbreak (timeout) and have another phone, using this one as an emergency. it expires jul.

interesting note: i used the phone yesterday, making it network active and got more calls straight after so i'd say it's optus on the sydney number and one of their third party marketing partners on the other number

Female, said she acting on behalf of the ATO. I asked if I could call her back on the number that came up on my phone, she said yes. The call gets disconnect after a few rings. I have not had another. Seems dodgy. Would not trust.

Just got the same call wanting my details to pay an electricity bill, when pressed for more details on the company and how they got my number he hung up.

Similar to other remarks here, she rang me last week and told me she was from TruEnergy, and that she can get me an 8% discount on my energy bills. I told her I was not interested, but she keeps calling me back. I have not answered since.

Let it go to answer machine and they hung up.

The woman said she was from Tru Energy and could save me 8% on my bills. I am not with Tru Energy. Told her I wasn't interested.
