I've had 4 or 5 calls from this number in the last couple of months. Haven't answered them because I couldn't find a business associated with that number. Now I remember a call from Sentinel Secure about 6 mths ago about credit card details(who I used to belong to) Didn't want to give a number over the phone so asked the guy to email me their site URL so I could do it over the net. The email never arrived.

Following on from my previous comment, I just called Secure Sentinel on 1800 022 043 and spoke to a lady called Margaret. (I got the number from http://www.securesentinel.com.au) I have advised her of receiving numerous phone calls from (03) 9914 8919. She said that because my membership with Secure Sentinel has not been renewed, they are calling me to see if I would like to renew it. They have outsourced this service, hence where the (03) 9914 8919 number comes into play. I have advised her of the fact that every time I answer a call from this number, the person on the other line hangs up and that I have found this forum where a lot of people are having similar issues. She has said that she will raise this with her manager, and has made a note on my file that I have called regarding my membership (hopefully the calls will stop now)I would suggest you check with your credit card provider if you have signed up with Secure Sentinel, or call them directly on 1800 022 043 and speak to one of their consultants. I would hesitate to give my credit card details to the persons calling from (03) 9914 8919, instead if you want to re-new your membership, dial Secure Sentinel directly.I hope this has helped someone.

Jess

Yes, they say Secure Sentinel in the recorded message. There is a website called http://www.securesentinel.com.au/what-we-offer/secureplus.dot (please see my comment below)

I am in no way encouraging you to provide them with your credit card details, but however this may shed some light onto these weird phone calls?

I have been receiving this phone calls too for the last week, every day now. Whenever I attempt to answer the call, the person on the other end hangs up. About Secure Sentinel.. Secure Sentinel is like an content insurance provider that only covers basic contents (e.g, credit card, passport, mobile phone, etc)I bank with ANZ and signed up to Secure Sentinel through ANZ. I have never received any calls from this organisation so I cannot confirm if this number is legit, however I will call Secure Sentinel today and confirm with them if this number is indeed theirs. Not sure if everyone who has been receiving these calls has signed up with them and thus is receiving calls from them? :Sthis is the link: http://www.securesentinel.com.au/what-we-offer/secureplus.dot
