Yep, same as others, I''ve an Optus mobile, hangs up every time. Could Optus have had a privacy breach and people's details are out there?

Have they said what affiiation it has with them, who it is and how to stop it?

Yep I'm still getting calls from this number too!

Number has been calling me every couple of days for two weeks now. I never answer unknown numbers, but I googled this one the first time it called. They're still calling me.

keep getting calls from this number, and I am an Optus customer so the other posts would make sense.
It is ultra annoying though as they hang up.
I have saved the number, so I know not to bother answering.

Ive spoken to Optus about this and these calls are affiliated with Optus.

I get atleast 1 call a day and when I answer I get the busy signal and it disconnects. MOST annoying

I am constantly getting calls from this number and others like it as I block the number and they use a different one. I answer and they hang up, now as soon as I see an 03 number I block it or reject it, just hope n one from Victoria ever rings me legit as I wont answer

Got a call 'Eric' at Optus today...wanted to offer me galaxy tablet plan with 10dollars off monthly phone plan...he read out my address to confirm it to me but asked my DOB...and discussed the delivery and how the post office would need to see ID and so they wanted my drivers license number or other ID...at which point I said - how do I know you are who you say you are - I asked him to email me the details - he said he only has access to some of my contact details caus Sales don't get full access, he would only give me his number and told me to ring back and I would get an optus number and ask whoever answered to put me through to 'Eric'. So I did a sneaky and rang the Optus number for this deal and asked for 'Eric'...they of course didn't know what to do with me but offered to match the deal...I rang the number he gave me (03) 8199 8010 and the first time it didn't connect, the second time it went through to the dodgiest sounding music and recorded message...have since had 6 missed calls from the above number (in one day)...have blocked the number on my phone but I'm sure he'll just use another number.
