There are approximately 5000 staff at Monash University and more than 55,000 students. This number is the switchboard number that is displayed when you receive a call from a Monash extension. Unless you have some business with someone at Monash, you are unlikely to be able to identify who is actually calling you.

I work at Monash, so always pick up from this number. However, it has obviously been highjacked by some dodgy call centre as I've received multiple nuisance calls lately. This is a dilemma as I don't want to miss legitimate calls being transferred to me through the real switchboard. To block or not to block?

Called at 11 PM, twice. I missed both calls. No voicemail left. Did not try to return the call.

I regularly get calls from this number assoicayed with Monash uni. I am now blocking them.

Idiots calling me in the middle of the night!

Received call from this number, about donation and even have amount requested(start from $100), when I told them I will think about it, and them keep call back once a while.

Calling me at 8pm on a weeknight. Grrr

This number is a Monash University (Clayton) line, outgoing calls from within the uni will often show this number regardless of the callers internal extension.

i got a missed call from (03) 9902 9000. I tried to call back, but the number is not valid at all.Anybody can help?

Sorry don't know who it is but I got several calls from same caller starting really early in the morning all on one day. Started 4.30 am! Good for us to report it.Jay

You can't call them back because they call from a switchboard
