Automated voice scam call claiming Amazon was about to charge for an associated service as free trial ended and to press 1 on keypad if I wanted to cancel such service. Was transferred to a human and after a few minutes I realised that it was a total scam as I was checking my Amazon account thoroughly whilst she was speaking. No such service/subscription had been associated. Told her there was an error, as I just checked my account, said goodbye and hung up without delay.

Caller: A scammer imitating Amazon customer service
Got a call from an automated voice claiming that my Amazon prime account had a service associated to it (??) and that it was in its end days of its free trial period - and that after today it would be charging my account ~$37_something. The voice proceeded to say that if I wanted to cancel this before the charge that I should press '1' on my keypad.... And so I did.
Was then transferred to someone who spoke poor English, but I dismissed this and only realised that it was BS the moment she asked me whether my device was an Android or iPhone (because I'm thinking, how is that relevant when I access my account through my browser?) I immediately opened up my browser to my Amazon account and noticed NO subscribed services whatsoever, then told her "thanks, I've just checked my account and there's an error on your end, goodbye" and hung up.
