Scam call claiming to be from Visa.

Caller: Scammer seeking remote access to your computer

Male called from similar number minutes earlier saying from NBN. This time a female saying from NBN. I said "I think I know what you want: you want me to do a speed test on my NBN line." (a short pause) and she replied "yes". And I said " then you want me to allow remote access to my computer?". She hung up. Warning to all: NEVER ALLOW REMOTE ACCESS TO YOUR DEVICE from anyone unless from a known (and confirmed) trusted source.

Caller: Claimed to be Commonwealth bank

Claimed my bank account had been compromised, wanted me to log in to their website to investigate. I obviuosly didn't, but i did waste a few minutes with them trying to work out if it was legitimate!

Male called this morning claiming to be from Westpac re a unknown transaction on my account. He hesitated when I challenged him on where he was calling from , it seemed clear he didn't know.

Phoned at 8pm.... said they were from the Victorian government... I said I was Jeff Kennett.

Claimed that my phone had been compromised and wanted to fix it.

Obviously a scam. Blocked and some one should go after these people - Ringwood Victoria is where they are from.

Caller: Missed a couple of calls then answered . Man on the other end claiming from the CW bank . Wasn’t buying it, they hung up. I blocked the caller.

Definitely a scam!! how can they still be getting away with this. They will continue until a vulnerable person falls prey to their scam

Caller: Saying it was from Commonwealth Bank

The call was very noise and loud from the background. The person claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank.

Didn't answer. No message left. Scammer as usual according to many comments

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Fed up with calls from this number, no message - blocked - report as Scam

Call from Ringwoor, Victoria. I don't have any business to do with that place so I didn't answer. Didn't leave a message

robo call from female say I have visa transaction from oversea.

Caller: Indian guy- claim g from telstra

From Ringwood Vic, says he was from telstra to fix my internet but asked if I have internet - I pretended to speak another language - after a while he mocked my language & hang up 🤷🏻‍♀️

Caller: Some Indian guy

Absolute scam says he from telstra to tell me my internet is slow - I parented to not speak English & he started mimicking b4 hanging up - I’m guessing the new ‘Yeppoon’ is now ‘Ringwood Vic’

Didn't leave a message. I assume it same call centre as (03) 9871 7449
