Caller: Recorded message This call showed as coming from Ringwood, Victoria. When I answered there were several seconds of delay followed by a recorded male voice which purported to be from Visa security and told me that there had been two transactions made using my card (one for $300 and the other for $1300). If I considered them to be fraudulent then I should press button 1, or button 2 if it was OK. Needless to say no buttons were pressed, I just hung up. Still the same old scam.

Caller: (03) 9871 7445 I remembered the number from last time and the suburb of Ringwood Victoria. This is a scam caller. Be careful. I think the telco companies need to address this issue.

Caller: Scam I had a similar call but from (03) 9871 7495 purporting to be from "Maria" but with an extremely heavy sub-Asian accent, stating she was from Telstra offering me 50% off my next bill with them. When I advised that that would be very interesting, considering I was not _with_ Telstra, she simply said "OK, sorry for bothering you" and hung up. There are no complaints for this number specifically, but seem to be quite a few for the same pre-fix.

Another day another amateurish Scam call. Recorded voice orders you to Press 1 or 2 to accept/decline a non-existent $1300 charge pending on your Visa card. I am so sick of scammers interrupting my day, bring back the Death sentence.

This call showed as coming from Ringwood, Victoria. Voicemail was a female voice saying they were from Visa security and told me that there had been two transactions made using my card (one for $300 and the other for $1300). If I considered them to be fraudulent then I should press button 1 - I just hung up. Usual scam.

Possibly a scam call as I didn’t answer the phone and there was no message left. My theory is that if I’ve missed a call and it’s important they would leave a message.

This call showed me as well it was local from Ringwood, Vic. It was a live person, male voice, quite aggressive, advising me my bank had fraudulent transactions on it. He had also called me, same man, from a mobile number 0483 947 519 and I put the phone down him, stating I did not believe he was from my bank.

Female Indian accent started to talk but hung up. There was an initial delay after I answered the phone and yes it comes up as a Ringwood number from Victoria.
