Several calls from this number and (03) 9871 7420, after I had blocked 7420.

Automated female voice claiming to be from the Visa security department. The caller claimed the call related to 2 transactions debited to my account. One was for an EBay purchase & the other for an international money transfer. Caller gave option to press 1 to speak to someone if I did not authorise these amount. Obviously a SCAM. Firstly an automated voice not a real person, secondly I was not addressed by name (if they know it was my account then they know my name), thirdly a couple of the other comments say the caller said that they were from the Commonwealth Bank.

Multiple calls over last few weeks. Usually around 11am or 4-6pm. Sometimes twice in a day. I never answer but have checked every time who called me. In every case others said scammers. Numbers range from up to 20 numbers before and after (03) 9871 7442. Clearly a big enterprise to have so many numbers to call from. All located in Ringwood Victoria.

Caller: Scammer Long pause after I picked up phone. Male caller with no accent greeted me without saying who he was or who he worked for. After I asked "who are you and what is your company" he claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank fraud department. I immediately hung up. I did not say whether or not I had a Commonwealth account as this would provide useful information to scammers.

Claimed it was Paypal trying to authorise a payment - 1 for No, 2 for yes. I hit 1. They asked me to stay on the line while they put me through. The guy who answered (Indian, I think) started like I'd called him. When I said they'd called me, he hung up immediately. So yeah, scam.
