Left message with background noise akin to a call centre?!

Rang me, didn't leave a message. Phone said it was from 'Ringwood'.

Look up reverseau.com. 9871 7440 is a Spoofed Caller ID used by scammers who will manipulate the number so that the call appears to be coming from a local or well-known phone number, making it more likely to be trusted or answered.

As soon as I answered caller immediately hung up

Caller: The Microsoft

Calling me ; asked for me by name. And said they are from “the Microsoft” I laughed so hard they hung up

Caller: Ringwood vitoria

claimed was from Telstra, internet provider. 'Mr peter, sir we have a 50% discount" knew my sir name and email

indian claiming to be from visa/master card services

Caller: Said NBN but Sounded like an offshore call centre Telstra Optus iinet who knows?

Switch off my modem for two hours then switch it back on and immediately callrd on my mumber
Telling tje NBN is pitting it back tried o rip my bank account of about $3500$ from an overseas account in $us claiming my modem was faulty and I would receive a new one from the NBN but needed to pay $4.95 fitst

Scam. Left a recorded voicemail (female with American accent) about 2 charges to Visa.

called and said they were from commbank wanting to confirm a transaction was intiated by me - when i asked where they had called from the caller said 'sorry what is that sir' - I think with my name is obviously not a sir. The backgroudn noise was high which means low tech so hung up.

Caller: Gave a European sounding but had strong Asian accent

Claimed that someone was trying to make a fraudulent tx with my Visa card. Clearly from a foreign call centre.
Wanted me to tell them my CC number. I said I needed to check with my bank first about their claims and hung up. . I did check with the Commbank nd yes it was a scam.

Caller: Joy from the Commonwealth Bank…

I don’t deal with Commbank

A scammer claimed calling from Australia Cybersecurity for Visa and Master card.

Indian voice claimed my visa card had an odd use in NZ. I hung up and called back only to get a poor recorded message. Bank apps indicate nothing unusual. Sure it was a scam call

Robot claims to be from visa saying two transactions on my card totaling $2000 and ifs not me press blah to talk to a rep

3 calls from similar numbers in ten minutes. I don’t pick up anymore when I notice the first 4 numbers are the same. I keep blocking them but they ring me on similar numbers. So sick of this.

Pretended to be from Telstra and offered 50% off my bills. When I said I’m happy paying full price, he hung up.

A lady caller with an Indian accent said she was from Telstra and that my ipn address had been made public and was now compromised and she wanted to talk me through how to fix it.

Left a ‘hello’ on my voicemail. Background sounds of a call centre so assuming it was a scam call.
