Trying to keep me as a customer after I left. Very smug with themselves, had to have the last word with everything I said about why I was leaving.

Comments suggest Medibank which makes sense as I have signed with a different healthcare. They keep hanging up when I do answer and don't leave a message when I don't hence why I googled the number. I'd love to talk to them as they have taken a payment they shouldnt have. Probably making it hard for me to leave. Left because nothing I have is ever covered and it costs a fortune. Now have higher cover for same $$

Caller: Medibank Private Called and didn't leave a message. Can only assume it was Medibank Private going by the google search of the phone number. I recently changed health funds to St Lukes. More competitive pricing and local service.

Caller: Medibank Private They called me because I switched to a different health fund provider as they can’t match the offer. Instead, they are offering me something more expensive than their competitors. Great job Medibank for losing your loyal customer.

Caller: Medibank Been hounded by this number for days but because they didn't leave a voicemail I didn't call back. They had called me 4 times and this time I answered, said hello and my name and they hung up. I called back only to hear the Medibank IVR. Really what is the point in hounding me with no intention to speak with me? It has left a very poor impression of a very average healthcare provider. Glad I left now!

Caller: Possibly Medibank Private. (This is by Reverse Phone Lookup Australia) 07/02/19 at 2.43pm had a call from this number on my landline, then at 2.44pm the same number called my mobile and as they were not a reconizable number they were not answered. Both my phones have answering messages on them but no messages were left. As I have just changed my health insurance it is assumed that Medibank Private is trying to change my mind and since they cannot leave a message then I cannot be bothered to talk to them. Why I have changed is I found another insurer that gave me a better deal with more things that suit my needs for $100 per month less. My advise is DUMP Medibank Private.

I'll stay with Medibank if they agree to back date the offer for ten years.

Medibank..... I changed to other insurance supplier since Medibank service is really poor. However, they keep on harass me after the account closing.

Caller: Medibank Private Left Medibank Private for HCF a fortnight ago. As per this thread I assume calls personally received from this number have been from a customer retention team. No one speaks when I answer the call, just silence before the call is terminated. Extra disappointing given I hold considerable shares in this company!

Caller: Medibank apparently I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number so looked it up and found that everyone here says it's Medibank, I can relate to that because I too have just changed my health cover, I was tired of paying for extras that I only received a low set payment for because my provider wasn't a preferred Medibank provider. Our nearest preferred provider for anything is over 3 hours away.

I got a call from this number. Picked up the call, they hang up. If this is Medibank Private then it's their employees trying to make fake calls to show their boss that they've been working hard, reaching out to customers. Last week, I moved my Medibank to HCF after 20+ years with them.

Caller: Medibank They call now when they try to keep you but they charge so much for an insurance I did not benefit from.
Upon signup they ask you what you need it for mostly - they knew I need insurance for me and my daughter to have glasses and only gave us both a limit of $200.00 each per year when I pay over a grand a year for extras. So they pocket the rest while we go to their recommended Optometrists - Specsavers - who btw charge extra for coating per lens and other things on top so I'm still out of pocket. So they pocket over $600 per year from what I dont use and Im still out of pocket with what I do use from the policy. Nope - switched to NIB. They benefited me more with optometry.
