I just got a call from this number too!! the numbers always engaged when i call back!!

i just received a call on my mobile from this number and also 97983222 and no one answers on either number when i call back. dodgy

To all who have received calls from (03) 9798 3311. My name is Iain, the business owner of X Wash (www.xwash.com.au), a mobile vehicle washing & detailing service here in Melbourne Vic. I was only made aware of this issue regarding phone calls to all of you just this morning the Tuesday 22/1/13 by a concerned person. The number (03) 9798 3311 used to belong to X Wash until June 9 2009. I had contacted Telstra & True Local to discontinue that number in regards to X Wash in June 2009. I really don't know why the number is still associated with X Wash. We have only 1 number now & that's 1300 769 288. I sincerely don't know who's owns or is using that number up to today 22/1/13. I've contacted Telstra & True Local & made a complaint re all of your postings here on this website. X Wash has never done any sort of cold calling to market our business & has no reason to do so. I've also read one of the comments here that says, the person Glenstar, who mentions he bought a Scoopon deal from X Wash last year (don't know what year that was) but let it be know, X Wash has never associated or entertained any of these daily deals companies & will never, simply because it's not feasible nor profitable for us at X Wash. I apologize to all of you who have been receiving calls from this number but it's really not my fault & out of my control. Thank you, Iain.

I just received a call from this number, and because I don't know it I didn't answer. I then decided to google it incase if it was a business and this website came up. I then tried to ring and it was calling for two minutes! Complete scam! how did they get my number?

Got a call from then and was able to answer it. Its New World Honda Narre Warren trying to book a service for a car

Got a call early this afternoon. As soon as I answered, they hung up. Tried calling from my mobile and landline. Both times rang out. I hope it's not a way to hack into my phone. Someone please investigate

Received two calls to my mobile from (03) 9798 3222 and (03) 9798 3311 both with two hours apart. The call went to my message bank but no messages were left by the caller. I tried to return the phone calls but the call just rang out on both numbers.
Who are these people? Why are they calling these random numbers and hanging up? Where did they receive my number from? I have a privately listed mobile number! Very strange and annoying!

I received a phone call at home on my silent number and my mobile. My son took the call on 6/4/13 while I was out. Knew my name and what type of car I drove. Like everyone else, cannot get a reply when I ring back.

They called me on 5/3/2013 and hug up as soon as I answered. Calling back from a mobile gets messge bak straight away. Calling back from a land line I have got through to a mesasge bank a few times, but it is full. No one ever answers.

4:00PM Saturday A young woman asked if she coul speak to John. I said 'Yes speaking' and she hung up. No answer when I call back.

missed call on 20/3/2012 then they rang back but i let the phone ring out & they didn't leave a msg. i tried ringing the number back but engaged
