Very, very unreliable service- Hugh (the shop owner) comes across as a competent business owner, unfotunitly this is the only positive comment I can make.
I needed a new steering cable for my boat, they are available online from QLD, WA or USA with 7-14 delivery.
- My cable took over 6 weeks to be delivered, was told it would be 2 weeks.
- I originally asked for a quote only. I had to follow up the quote 5 days later & was told the cable was being manufacture (without my permission & he still couldn't even confirm the price).
- I had to follow him up weekly (3 weeks) to find out the expected delivery date & was told "2 days away" each time.
- On the 4th week of waiting, I angrily demanded Hugh to confirm the delivery date. He rang back to confirm the order had never been placed. He then told me to try an opposition cable supplier. Haha!
- I demanded my cable to be made & received it 7 days later (clearly wasn't very hard to make).
- He also managed to loose a part from my old cable forcing me to manufacture a new part.
