Same old same old. Twice in two days this number has phoned and hung up after I had answered.

Hangs up when I answer. If I do callback they hang up on me. Weird!

its a form of telstra marketing. under telecommunication laws you ARE allowed to receive communication from business you are already in partnership with (i.e.have phone/net/whatever with telstra) so therefore the Do Not Call register is irrelevant in this case.
Call Telstra marketing on 1800 039 059 and follow the voice prompts to make them stop calling you.
Hope this helps ease some frustration for people

Same story here - couple of rings then they hang up.

This number called our home phone and we are registered on the do not call register. It rings 5 or 6 times but hangs up before I reach the phone. Grrr!

i had these call ring me too often and i ring them back it keep hang up on me here is those numbers 0402 483 870   (03) 9655 0140  this is really pissing me off... bloody spammer !

Have had a few calls on mobile no. then no-one there

Received 2 calls so far today from this number, and as with everyone else it hangs up after 2 rings, times were at 11:00am and 1:00pm wonder if I'll get another call at 3:00pm lol

This number constantly harassing us with calls day/night on mobile - hangs up after a few rings.  Even ringing a business mobile that is privately listed.

This number has called me every day for nearly a week.  When I answer it they hang up.  After 2 phone calls yesterday they finally answered and they said they were Telstra.  Said my contract was up and needed to renew it.  I told them I couldn't talk as I was at work.  He said he would phone at 5.30pm they afternoon.  They didn't bother phoning back and they didn't phone me today.  Are they really Telstra?  Who are they?
