I missed the call. Didn't recognise the number but when I called back, I received a recorded message stating that the number was used by the Liberal Party for research purposes. How dare they cold call mobiles. It's bad enough that we have to put up with telemarketers and scam callers...

Hmm I got a recorded "politics in Victoria" survey earlier which I hung up on. Then this number calls me & hung up without saying anything.
If it is the Liberals they're not helping us like 'em eh? (Heard on ABC radio: re talk of Aust.Embassy moving to Jerusalem - argument over the Capital.....'give 'em Canberra, we don't need them!)

Called me tonight at 7,20pm. This is the second annoying call I have received today from different numbers. They shouldn't waste their time as I don"t answer any calls not on my contact list. This number has been blocked also, but still very annoying.

I have this number blocked on my mobile yet they STILL managed to call! It says the number is used for 'research purposes' by the Liberal Party of Australia....sounds a bit like the Japanese using whales for 'research purposes'...one great. big. hoax. I have never & will never divulge my personal, private number to ScoMo and his mates, so not sure where they got it. Certainly won't be answering it anytime soon. I have in fact listed it on my phone so that, when a dodgy site/person/number requests MY number, I'll pass this one on...crooks calling crooks...justice prevails! :-)
