They ring us looking for someone else. It is harassment. We keep telling them there is now one here by that name. They ignore us and keep ringing. Why do they waist there time? They dont ever say who they are. Now we know. It is good practice when you phone someone to say this is ..... from ..... and what i am wanting today is......... but this is why they just keep asking for the person they are after. They want to harass them and cant find them so they just harass innocent people. Should be a law against them.

A woman named Cody on this number phoned and asked if I know a neighbour across the road. Someone else from (07) 3017 3999 phoned about the same neighbour. Cody was pleasant and asked me if I would let the neighbour know they were trying to contact her about a debt. Interestingly, she offered three surnames for the neighbour, none of which, to my knowledge, were correct. I would be very surprised if a debt actually exists. Do the callers employed by these companies actually know if debts exist, or are they unwittingly seeking personal information that is to be used for other purposes?

Still getting calls. Don't answer as I don't owe money and I will NEVER harass my family, neighbours or anyone else about any debt they may or may not have. As for comments Lion are one of the better debt collection companies, must have been an employee or director who wrote that. Do a simple search on the web and you find hundreds upon hundreds of complaints about their conduct and even ASIC/ACCC reports on how bad they are. Even if you do come to an agreement with them, they are still nasty, rude and ignorant.

Honestly, don't know how they sleep at night. I could never do that job, but then I am an honest, hardworking compassionate person who understands that life sometimes hits you where it hurts and you need time and help to get back on your feet, not nasty, horrible gremlins making your life a misery. No wonder bankruptcy looks good to a lot of people.

Called me this morning at 6:36am........woke me up and wouldn't tell me who they were or why they were calling. VERY RUDE!

This number did not leave a message so I am not any wiser to what they want ....... I don,t answer the phone with all the scams and telemarketing nowadays. However I do sometimes look up who called.
After reading here ..... by the way we do not owe money ...! However maybe they should write a letter. We do read letters addressed to us and return to sender any not for us. Thank you for this web site.

We got a rude and harassing call from this number about our son. My son has recently purchased a house and financial checks revealed that he was not is debt. So how can they say he is. Is this harassment legal?

As an employer of person they are after they tried to trick me into giving out employees name and address. On another occasion pretended to be a bank approving a loan to get employees wage details. Underhanded and devious. Now I know their game I tell them what I think of them and hang up

I HAVE BEEN ISSUED WITH DOCUMENTS TO GO TO COURT FOR A DEBT OVER $15,000 WHICH IM SURE I NEVER BORROWED FROM GE AS IM ON DISABILITY & WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO BORROW THAT AMOUNT.THEY THINK THEY CAN ISSUE PEOPLE WITH DOCUMENTS TO ATTEND COURT & THREATEN THEM.I DID NOT BORROW ANY MONEY OF SUCH AMOUNT!! SCAMMERS!!

It's debt collectors... It's simple, they're calling for debt either you owe and should be an adult and pay it or they may have just got a wrong number.
Either way they're actually one of the better debt collection agency that have helped me out and understood the situation I was in.
Just pay your debt people.

They are a scam was paying a debt they told me I had but after a few months of doing so stopped as I had not been sent any statements from them at all

Debt collectors that seem to have a problem with looking at the clock before calling. they have called many times during business hours when im unavailable to talk, you request to be contacted outside of normal business hours and they say yes they will and they hang up only to then they call the next day at 11am
