Caller: NBN scam
Received 7 calls in the space of 2 hrs last night (12/6/2020) from 3.32pm to 5.30pm. Each time there is a recording of a female voice stating the her name is Nicole from the national broadband network (NBN). The recording then states that the phone line will be disconnected and to be connected to the NBN that you have to speak to a technician and tells you to press 1. Each time we hung up last night knowing that this is a scam. This morning another call same as described above. This time I decided to press 1 and was connected to a man, as soon as he said hello, I politely asked him to stop calling my number. There was silence for a few seconds then he hung up. Didn't even have the courtesy to good bye or have a nice day. :) Don't know if this will stop (most likely not) but hopefully we won't get another day of annoying calls. BTW each time the scammers called it was a different number- the first 5 digits of the scammers number were the same with the last 5 digits different each time.

Scam keep selling you more and more and holding the gift cards over you if you accept.
Then they said the order must be from the last guy.
Then they halved the order and said this is the last time. 3 months later call again asking for the other half and that this is now the last time.
