Arrgh!, Looked up this number after I did a qoute on Iselect this morning!!I also received a call from this number after putting my number on iselect quote and Yes it hung Up on me too!!!I have emailed ISelect also and asked them to take me of their mailing list and call back list.

I am a silent number on the do not call register who has never used iselect for anything so they wouldn't have my details and I have received two calls from them today .. at least. Going to make a complaint in several places, starting with iselect, then my Telco (they are obliged to keep dnc registers up to date and following that, the ombudsman. I hope someone from iselect is reading this...fines are applicable, but this forum was a good find. Cheers.

Agreed - It's certainly annoying, I just wish there was something we could do about it. entering the number into I-Selects own database seems rather pointless, even the worst of programmers would counteract that sort of stuff.

yep I did a car insurance quote through iselect and now around 4.15pm each day they have rung. I don't answer and do *69 and this number keeps coming up. I have emailed them at info @ iselect.com.au telling them to cease contacting me

Yeah its I Select. SO ANNOYING! If I wanted to talk to you I would call you myself! And their stupid website doesnt let you log back in and change your phone number so they cant call you.

Yep received phone calls after completing iselect quotation form ... bastards

I keep receiving calls from this number and they hang up as soon as it rings or after a few rings.

Damn this has been going on for a week and they always hang up, never had someone talk to me at all, I'm ringing Telstra saying they are prank calls, had enough.

The reason they hang up is this. They have a junior staff member (cheaper hourly rate to employ) to make the initial call to see if you are available to answer the phone. This then flags to the more qualified salesperson to call you back. It saves them money as the salespeople aren't calling numbers that people aren't answering... So damn annoying!!!

Hi, I had the same problem after getting a quote from Iselect - I have emailed them to take me off the mailing list - Here is their email: info @ iselect.com.au - Hope it works and they take my number off and stop calling!

Yep same as above complaints, went to iSelect for price comparison and now getting calls from this number. Added them to my blocked number list on my Norton mobile security and problem solved now.
