Yeah it just happened to me. I didn't bother ringing the number. If they couldn't bother leaving a voice mail message then I didn't bother calling it back. I googled the number and got on this forum and others.

I did find a link to have my number removed from their calling list. I hope it works.

Just filled out a request on iselects website to compare car insurance and then got a call from this number, no one spoke then it hung up

Same happened to me today ..... I thought it was iSelect as they called about 15mins after the quote request. I just keep ignoring the phone call.

Yep Definitely iSelect. Requested a quote for Electricity prices. Got a call within 10 mins and hung up. May be they're being sneaky, trying to gauge if there is a real person behind the phone. If you get a 2nd call don't pick up.

If you are using an IPhone you can hit the infi icon on the right and scroll down to block the number

9452 5927 is the number of iselect.com.au and this ringing people 24/7 is their version of customer service. Pretty bad! This is how they try to get customers! What a joke!

I rang them on 1300 735 937 and gave them a mouthful

Same problem, they rang, I answered straight away with no response followed by disconnection. I called the number back and an automated message said an iSelect consultant had tried to contact me and gave another number for an operator. Called that number and they were happy to delete my from their records. Happened 20minutes after an iSelect electricity comparison.

Pain in the proverbial - just wanted to do electricity supply comparisons them got the "call back" Have now done the add as contact thing and then blocked incoming calls from them..................Can't say they are doing themselves a favour as a business with this tactic.

Had the same problem. Since they're calling my iPhone, I just added them as a contact scroll to the bottom of that entry & tap, "Block this caller"... Now they can't ring or text, caller just hears the engaged tone. Won't ever go to iSelect again and tell others not to

Next time fill in the form with their own contact details, bet they wont even figure out that they are contacting themselves.

Same thing with me - put in my details on iSelect about 10 minutes ago then got a call from this number.

It's a computer,when you answer it registers that your there, it then send the info to a tele marketing call centre, if you have an iPhone you can block the numbers via phone in settings,
