same thing. went online to get a quote from iSelect for car insurance and now have calls from this number

Get a quote and then get harassed by iSelect telemarketers. Tell them to put you on their Do Not Call list.

Have any of you bothered to list the number on the government's Do Not Call Register?

This number called me earlier and left a 7 second voice mail of nothing but background noise in a call centre. They rang me again so I answered. I don't recall the name of the place, but they were trying to get me to "make money" but playing the stock market? I kept the call going out of pure amusement as I could barely understand a word the woman was saying. When she asked how much I would like to deposit to begin "making money" ($200, $500 or $1000) I told her I'm an unemployed student with zero money. So she played on that....? Kinda funny, to be honest.

Never got in contact with i select, however they got my number stated that, i filled out a requested form,never happened.
I don't know how they got my number.
Rang up requesting to not receive any calls from them, however they rang twice in one day.
Such a nuisance.

Got a call within 15mins of doing iselect online form, let it go to messages and they didn't leave one. I looked up number here and found it was them. They called again about half hour later, answered the phone and they said nothing but could hear the background noises and they were on the line, after about 30 seconds waiting for them to speak I hung up. Creeps?

On the iSelect site there is an option to remove yourself from their call list. Guess what. They simply ignore this.

Thanks for posting. It was doing my head in.

Got a car insurance quote from iSelect this morning. Not even 3 hours later 3 "missed" calls. I answer, the call disconnects as soon as I answer. Pity, the quotes were really good, but I don't respond to hard sell.

All it took was less than 30 minutes for Iselect to start harassing calls after I made an internet insurance inquiry, which was not as good as my own renewal notice, don't know how their system works as all calls are dead when you answer - keeps calling back automatically, total PIA - Block No if you can.
