Scumbags must have been sold aussie info from dodgy pricks that work in the call centre that Energy Australia use overseas. this is the reason why we should have aussies in aussie call centre for aussie accounts. then we wouldn't have to deal with tea pickers and snackbar girls trying to scam us

this is a new scam number for me....i am so annoyed these scamers can aquire our private numbers.....what's going on ....

If there is this much evidence that it is a scam why doesnt the actual number be deleted somehow through the telco's or ASIC? just a thought.

Got a very long blank voicemail. You can tell its a call centre and I know they keep the voicemail going for as long as they can just so it looks good on their stats. It will show as an answered call and a long conversation on their call reports, which makes it look like they're doing whatever the hell these idiots are suppose to be doing. Morons.

Just got a call from them. They claimed to be Energy Australia and this was just a courtesy call. I didn't give them my credit card details but am worried that I did speak to Energy Australia earlier today and DID give credit card details twice to an Asian woman who asked a lot of questions about my financial situation. I'm going to contact Energy Australia and report them.

I didn't answer because I don't know the number, they left a voicemail that was just a series of clicking noises. It sounded like they were muting and unmuting, and it went on for ages. I can't verify who this is.

this number keeps ringing me, and when I answer no one is on the other side. I called the number back from my land line it has a recording for an electricity company but no one picks up

They say they're from Energy Australia debt collection department but it's a scam, I have no account nor ever had an account with Energy Australia.

It is Energy Australia, I have had more than 1 call from this number and I have spoken to them and adjusted payments on my Energy account, which are there online afterwards, so the are legit.

I answered the call but there was just silence on the other end. weird.

This number called me and left a voicemail of someone having a conversation with someone else in a language I don’t understand .
It was like they accidentally called me while having a conversation with someone else . Lol

Please know if you blow a whistle through the phone and cause someone to go deaf, you can be sued.
you can also be charged with assault, think carefully before you do stuff like this.

It's not Energy Australia because I have never had an account with them and therefore owe them nothing... they wouldn't even have my contact number as I have never contacted them for anything such as a quote...
