Caller: Lady identifying herself as from AVPG
Got a cold call allegedly from this number with a lady identifying herself from AVPG (wishing to acquire Metlifecare) and appeared to be keen for me to accept the takeover offer. However all the info appears to suggest that this is from Computershare. Feels really odd because would have thought as a share registry and admin service, Computershare would usually be more impartial than this. Was the number spoofed? Will be following up with Computershare.
Was also asked which way I would be voting, but advised that I have yet to review the documentation and was not able to render an answer until I do.
Have to admit, my guard was up and I was gruff because Ive been receiving a lot of scam calls recently.

I just got a call from this number, I wasn't going to pick up, but others said it was Computershare. It's a legitimate call, normally to do with a shareholding you own. She wasn't super responsive immediately when I picked up though (probably because I was googling and took a while to pick up).

I don’t have any holdings with Computershare so I’m assuming they are calling to try and sell me something. Not interested!

This is a legit call. It’s from the share registry, Computershare. I asked why they don’t leave messages and it’s due to their company privacy policy. If they are calling you it would be in regards to a holding you have.

Like others say, this one is not spam-call nor tele-marketing... If you received call from this number, it's likely a matter to do with one of your share-holding or stock registered with Computershare Registry.

They call me 2-3 times a day, leave quick voicemails saying “hello”? I have nothing to do with computershare so I’m not sure why they keep spamming me with calls!! I don’t have any shares with them or any holdings.. very very annoying. If they left a relevant voicemail as to why they are calling then maybe I would call back.. but otherwise they can F off!
