Company claiming to advise people about tax savings you can claim if your household income exceeds $59000. He wanted to know how much our household earns and I said I don’t feel comfortable divulging that information to a stranger.

The guy who rang said he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. He wanted to know how much my total household income is- I said I don’t feel comfortable giving out my personal details to a stranger.

Again wanting to talk to anyone in the household who is under 59 for super and tax savings. Seemed put out by the fact that I told her nobody here who is under 59!

Instantly hung up. Silent call probably used as a cold call number validation check... so expecting to get some telemarketing calls now. Don't answer

Tax time = Tax time scams.

Thankfully my phone has a block caller option. No more dodgy tax scams from them haha

Yep. Really annoying and pushy as! Cracked it when I said I wasn't giving private income info to stranger over the phone...

tried listening to message and my phone started to ring the number back
