Caller: Says he's from Telstra
He told me that he would disconnect our internet within 36 hours if I didn't do what he said. I asked for his number so that my manager could call him back and he started yelling at me. I ended up hanging up on him because he was so aggravated.

I told them that I don’t have a phone or computer which seemed to annoy the guy so much that he terminated the call

Had 4 of these calls from "Telstra" in the last fortnight. "We have detected your system is being hacked and your internet will be cut off for the next 15 days." I'm sick of these calls so today I was on lunchbreak and felt like playing along. "Oh dear! that sounds serious! What I should do?" Asian accent asked me to tell him what lights were showing on my router. I didn't tell him and instead asked him to confirm my "Telstra ID". He gave a string of numbers but had no idea of the IP address, which I do know and also asked him for. I told him I was not aware of any problem. "But madam, you would not be aware." (Yeah? Dummy female am I?) He then got quite agitated and aggressive, insisting there was a problem with my Telstra internet. I'd had enough and my latte was getting cold so I trumped him with "but I don't have Telstra internet." Unbelievably undeterred he then insisted that ALL internet accounts are from Telstra! I said "Nope, you are S-P-A-M Phishing - hanging up now. Bye!"
