Has called me twice in the past fortnight. I don't answer strange numbers, but each time, has left a voicemail. The first one was nothing, but the second was a woman with a stark Asian accent crying out my name. Definitely don't trust this number

Caller: " Roy Morgan " SCAM but I thought I would play along to see how it would go. Asked her if she was going to ask my employment status and income. She said "Yes, it is important for the survey." I laughed and she hung up.

Caller: "Roy Morgan Research" So, I thought that this might have been legit Market Research, as I've been involved in that industry in the past and I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt.
However, at the end of the call after asking about income, employment and investment details (these are all fairly normal Australian public service details, so I wasn't too concerned), they then wanted to get my availability so that an "Investment advisor could get in touch, if I qualify."
Whoah. Scam alert! That is NOT a normal finish to a research call, so I figure that this is 100% a scam call. Politely explained that I'm OK, and don't need any investment advice. Hang up, for sure.

Claimed to be Roy Morgan Research. Stated straight away that I didn't want to do any surveys and the caller told me "f*ck off" and hung up. I've reported this to Roy Morgan Research and they are passing it on to their IT department.
