Caller: Supposedly Telstra

Calling from India supposed to be from Telstra, wanted to confirm details re NBN connection.
I refused to give any info at all due to constant scam calls from overseas. This number shows as Australian but calling from India?

Had a call from an Indian wanting to confirm DOB, yeh as if I was going to fall from that one.......

Caller: From NBN your order is waiting to be picked up at the post office.

Did I receive the Modem Package, so the tech could install it when he arrives tomorrow between 1pm and 5 pm---- NO
I will ring tomorrow to see if it arrives and re-make the appointment.

Have had NBN for nearly 3 years 200gb 75mb down load and 5 upload very pleased with Telstra service

I received a call on my mobile. Did not give name (when answering these days) but identified himself as being from Telstra business ...
I do not tell caller my name. He asked to speak to someone not connected with this number.
I blocked the number.

Caller: NBN something??

Phoned regarding the NBN. Wanted to confirm my date of birth and asked if my services were all working correctly. Then asked if I had any further questions. Weird. Probably suspicious.

Caller: Telstra

Wanted to confirm an appointment from Telstra. Asked for my DOB, I said what's the nature of the call home or business and wouldn't confirm unless I provide her my personal details. Totally knew it was a scam. I said I will call Telstra back and talk to them. She insisted on giving me the number to call, and I said no worries I can google it.

I don’t answer, then it’s one call after another, it goes on and on.

Telstra, Pretty sure not a scam but in saying that, always take caution when revealing personal details.

Called Sat PM and left Telstra 1800 number. Number that called is for a fax machine.

Number called at 7.23 PM, Saturday 31 October 2020, and on my mobile.
Checked number (03) 9331 8000 and was connected to a facsimile line.
Voice message extremely garbled but referenced number 1800 931 588.
Checked 1800 number and connected to a Telstra Number - recorded message - office closed please ring back during normal business hours.
Voice message also quoted a reference number - not discernable!!!
Strongly suspect Spam Call.

Claimed to be telstra to make sure my service is working properly. Not even with Telstra. Scam.

Came up as a scam call. So it cut out when I went to answer it.

someone claiming to be conducting surveys, probably really scammers.. I don't know them..
