Caller: Claimed to be Telstra technician

SCAM. Telstra verified that this number is operated by Scammers. A man calling himself Steve Ray rang from this number. Wanted to get access to my computer via TeamViewer to "clean up some hacker IPs" When I asked him for a number I could call to verify his Telstra ID, he suggested I call 1800 750 612. This number is also part of the same scam.

long delay before speaking - said they were from telstra, I just hung up

Caller: Was missed call, unknown number - but another poster reported they identified as Telstra.

Husband had missed call from (03) 9323 4608 this afternoon 4/2/21, so before he called back I thought I'd better check this site - so glad I did. FYI we're not with Telstra.
Thanks to the person who reported the number earlier today or we wouldn't have known it was a scam.
