Hung up as soon as I answered. I also have complaints in with Australia Post so it wouldn't surprise me that they were calling, except that I requested a email reply. Still, another stuff up is to be expected from Australia Post. Assuming of course that it is them calling, since the caller didn't say anything and hung up when I answered.

Legit call back if you filed a complaint. Didn’t expect a legit call since I complained only a few hours earlier! Chalk one up for Aussie post.

If this really is AusPost complaint centre and they are really following up on late or missing parcels, then God help us!!!!!I tried to talk to a live agent on the website, don't bother.

Legitimate call.
Australia Post following up on a lost letter issue I filed (even though I requested email only). Friendly and left a message saying they would email me.

Correct - this is Australia Post following up on a complaint I made about overcharged postage. Therefore a legitimate call, a resolution was provided.

Australia Post called to acknowledge the issue of a parcel left in a totally unsuitable location in plain view of the street in bright orange packaging that was unsurprisingly missing when i arrived home.
Then suggested that it was worthy of me lodging a Police Report should i so chose ???
Also trying to suggest i should reach out to the sender for some kind of resolution.

That's a hard NO Australia Post do better with your drivers.

I not only always request email, I've advised them several times that I have slow cognitive speed from an impairment, and can't easily follow conversations in real time.
Now I will answer their emails, but not the phone. These haven't been emergencies, but my complaints about their inflexible policies regarding my impairment-related situation.
In the end I said they were acting in bad faith toward me, and refuse their calls, won't visit the local post office. The only things I could say about the guy there would be grounds for libel so I'm not saying anything about him.

Same here. I was supposed to receive my parcel by 6th June and still waiting. I've been watching my tracking and it been going back and forward from Melbourne to Hoppers Crossing, I had to put in an complaint in the end

I raised an issue for a missing parcel earlier and today I received a call from this number. The lady asked if I had received the parcel. I answered no - and then she said "ok, I'll email you. Have a nice day" and hung up on me. The call finished in a blink of eye.

Harassment calls, hangs up after 2 rings, following up complaint form.

I explicitly flagged as email only but of course they rang, and rang, and rang.

My mail kept being dropped of at train depot despite door to door delivery. Why the frick do we pay for it? How as a disabled client am I expected to drive an hour to and another back, for the collection point? 7th time.
