Caller: VARIOUS OPERATORS FROM A.N.H Ive asked repeatedly for them to stop calling me every single day. You would think they would understand that my ignoring them for a month is a fair indication that I am not interested. However they kept calling every day and even my phone calls asking them to back off went unheeded. My message is simple if you stick your hand in a fire your going to get burned. If having been burned you put your hand back in ,you deserve everything you get.

Caller: Hearing care Have been calling for weeks now, everyday except Sundays. I blocked it ages ago but can still see in my notifications that they've called. Ironically it's costing them more in call charges than they'll ever make

A tele-marketing scam, not a national hearing centre as some have reported

Caller: National Hearing Care - Australian company at 8pm... after multiple calls from this number after hours over the past week or so and no message left.
"We'd like to offer you free hearing tests" - gave the girl on this call a polite (!) serve to tell her Management that if they call my number again, which is also listed on the Do Not Call Register that it will go straight to the appropriate Ombudsman.

if I had to call back every number that calls me up to 8 to 12 times a day while I try to do my job looking after the elderly and then calls at 8 or 9pm ...I would probably get fired or not go to bed until midnight, ive started blocking these numbers as they call, sick of it, I don't have time for useless calls.

My numbers are registered on the 'do not call' register. How do these calls get through? Is the 'do not call' register a waste of time?

Caller: (03) 9264 9100 I know you can’t stop many of these calls but you can set your phone (lPhone and maybe Android) to ignore them: 1. Make a new contact and call it Spam or PITA (pain in the ar**) caller. 2. Put any nuisance calls in this folder (this only works for numbers with ID). 3.Set the incoming call sound to ‘silent’ 4.Turn vibrate off. 5.Turn block this caller on (if your phone has this feature). Now, when you get a call from ‘Spam’ you will not hear any audible tone or feel any vibration. All you will get is a notification that you missed a call.
