Caller: I don't know......read below. Well, I know they attempted to call me, but the phone never rang here....for 2 reasons.....their number is not on my phone CONTACTS LIST, & most importantly I use the ➤ Telstra Call Guardian 301 Telephone & Answer Machine.
See, if they are not on my contacts list in the phone, after a short message saying that I use the Telstra Call Guardian, in order to have the call put through they caller must announce themselves, & then press the # button.
99% of legitimate callers will announce themselves, while annoyance calls, scammers, & telemarketers will just hang up, & my phone wont wring to annoy me.
If they don't leave a announcement, my phone won't even ring......every so often I will press to see if calls came in & were intercepted, it shows the number of the calling party, & the date & time of the call, but again apart from that their annoying call never had the chance to bother me.
If they do announce themselves & press the #, the call rings in, & when I answer, & hear the announcement the caller placed, the Call Guardian prompts me that I have the choice of answering the call, or blocking it. If I choose to answer the call, it comes in as a normal call would, & later I can put the caller on my CONTACTS LIST if I wish future calls to get right through, or I can block the caller permanently if I never want to hear from them again.
To date, over the past 8+ months, I have never gotten bothered by a scam call, a telemarketer, or a nuisance caller......prior to me getting the Telstra Call Guardian 301 Phone I typically got between 2 & 5 unwanted calls each & every day!
Make a few complaints to Telstra about these calls.......they can't offer much, but call them a few times & maybe they will offer you this amazing phone.....they gave me mine for no charge because I complained.....Once a week, but this phone is remarkably cheap I'm told. Less than $75.....So you can have peace of mind the cost might not matter.....I was prepared to buy mine, but because I was considered a repeat caller, they offered me mine gratis before I got the chance to buy it! ;-)

This number badly needs to be blocked but apparently states it's a charity therefore unable to be blocked.. It rings nearly every day and usually more than once..

To the anonymous person who replied to Sarah - I can't help feeling you're the kind of person who would also call people on Centrelink "dole bludgers" and tell them to get a job.
Sarah explained why she was doing it. At least she was trying to earn an honest living.
I've never worked for a call centre and I usually check numbers on here and ignore unknown callers; but being annoyed is no excuse for the kind of behaviour Sarah described, or for you piling onto her in this way. Civility goes on both directions - or at least, it should.

Caller: (03) 9264 9100 I have 32 missed calls from these people on my work mobile. 32 calls. They have never left a message, but theyve called me 32 times in the past 3.5 months! I have tried to call back to tell them to stop calling me, but it goes to a national hearing care recorded message. Five minutes ago I got a call from that number and picked it up ready to tell them to stop calling and a woman started talking after a pause. The line was crackly. I said "Hello, I cant hear you" and she started singing "and so your back from outer space when I walked in to find you here with that look upon your face". WTF. Not sure if this company is now officially harassing me. She was singing. It wasnt a recording. Who is this weird scammer company??

This blatant abuse of telephone communications has to stop, preferably by legislation. The perpetrators have no idea how much annoyance they cause people in the midst of their already too busy workday, and the loss of focus on important tasks at hand. This type of business advertising has to be shut down, NOW!
