Save the number as "Telemarketer" on your mobile phone, so it "comes up" again you can delete the call.

Rang several times everyday, kept hanging up when they realised they called a business. Called back & found out they were the National Hearing Service. Googled them, rang their freecall number 1800 703 123) and spoke to an operator. They were only too happy to remove our number from their call list. We'll see if the calls stop.

Please don't answer the phone, once they realise your number is a working number, they will constantly keep calling and hanging up until one day they try to scam you!!!

Claim to be calling from a hearing clinic in a nearby suburb (but the number shows they are actually nowhere near me) offering free hearing tests for the elderly and people over 26. lied and told them i had a hearing test 3 weeks ago, and there was no one else who needed a hearing test here, so they hung up.

Rang and hung up as I answer for my workplace so I rang voices saying stuff first and then they advised they are from national hearing service would I like to make an appointment as it was a courtesy call to see if I need my hearing tested. Being from NSW and the phone number in Victoria, I said what in Melbourne? They said no we are national. I said I was not interested, Hmmm.

Rang me 8pm I rang back but got some recorded message for Australian hearing centre or similar. Funny as I am miles from nowhere unless they do house calls out of luck. I note they left no message.

Just called our business, after answering they tapped the phone or desk with what sounded like a pencil/pen about 3 times then hung up. Jerks.

Received a call from these jokers tonight. I told them we were on the DNC register so why are they calling us? Their response: DNC register only lasts for 6 months. I told them 'I don't think so' and to take our number off all of their databases (as they claimed to have multiple databases). If they call again, they might be in for a rude shock!!

They rang and organised a free hearing test, then the day before rang and said, we have to reschedule your appointment can we change it , it is now changed for a date in a months time , I then had another call from them saying we wondered whether you will be attending your app. tomorrow I said no, it's been rescheduled the person seemed to accept that and hung up! They also wanted to know whether I was on a pension and asked whether I lived with another person who might need an appointment so we are both booked in but after reading these posts I'm going to cancel.

Wow. These guys are a**h****. I actually did see them for a "free" appointment years ago. They discovered all these severe problems with my hearing that supposedly required immediate and expensive testing. When I said no, they got very aggressive and took to calling me constantly.
Now, several years later, they are calling me at weird hours - never during business hours.

Received three calls within a four hour period. Just reported to Telstra as a nuisance caller and have requested a block on the number. Let's see how it goes...
