I have been trying to get Sensis, or senseless as I call them to email me and everytime i ask them to, they telephone.When I call back to tell them to put things in writing, they don't answer the phone. How can a company as big as them not have any inbound complaints emails nor an ability to make send outbound emails. i have taken them to NCAT, because they sent a letter cancel;ling my account and then denied that they had ever sent it. I beg everyone to avoid Sensis if you want to stay sane. They have incredibly nice sales folks and incredibly deaf complaints handling folks.

Sensis Sales. Once you list your business on Google or any of the other free websites. They call to try and sell you an advertising package with them. This occurs when you accept the free listing with yellow pages also

I have received calls from three Sensis numbers, now all blocked in my mobile phone. Don't answer any of these: (03) 9244 1000, 9244 1010, 9244 1020.

I had a missed call on my mobile this morning from (03) 9244 1000. When I called it back the recorded message was a woman with an Australian accent saying it was Sensis. I waited until they answered and the very abrupt young fellow who answered asked me what Yellow Pages Business was I. I firmly told the idiot I am not a business and that if they phoned me again, I would be calling the Police, my local MP, The ACCC, and The Telecommunications Ombudsman and then hung up in his ear. I had a letter from Sensis some weeks earlier attempting to link my home address to an old Building Company in Toowoomba where I live which no longer operates in this City. This apparently occurred because Telstra had issued me with the old businesses landline number when I moved address over a year ago. They did not tell me of course it was a former business phone number. I eventually changed phone numbers back in February because I was inundated with calls from people asking for this defunked Building Company. My advice is to be very careful what details you give out to Sensis. They actually wanted to know my old Telstra account number which I refused to give out. There is something very wrong when Telstra re-allocates the phone number of an old business which had closed about 2 years prior to a residential customer, then does not inform Sensis the old number has been re-allocted to a residential address, obviously on a different account, and then Sensis proceed to issue a statement to my address with the defunked business name underneath my name in the post expecting me to pay for some stupid ad for a business I obviously never had anything to do with for the White Pages in 2017, and which no longer operates in Toowoomba anyway. The truth is Sensis cannot demand payment for advertising on your account which you never asked for, simply because Telstra re-allocated you an old business number because you changed address. Between Telstra and Sensis they both need one almighty kick up the bum, and the type of bullying of innocent customers by the two named I believe is open to Sensis operating below the radar by scams such as this. As a result Telstra lost a customer of 26 years and I now have a Silent number with my new phone and internet service provider. Block the number above on your mobile and landline if possible, and then place your phone numbers on the Do Not Call Register. You do not have to tolerate this type of intimidation from Sensis or their Scam subsidiaries. I hope this helps.

Apparently it is sensis;
Just received a call from a female requesting payment. When I said I had been informed from their rep that it was not going to be printed. She replied that it is automatically reprinted.
She then said they have a recording for the white pages (which I understand is free) that I have authorised the add.
Yes I authorized the White pages but not the Yellow pages.
Does an authorization for the white pages automatically entitle them to charge you for an add in the yellow pages, which was not requested??
When I said to her that doing business this way is unethical she seemed to get slightly pissed off.
So I said "I have just delivered a fridge to your unit and I want to get paid"
I knew then she was not going to see any sense because she started to carry on.
So I said I've had a gut full of your crap and hung up.
So the question is; how can any business bill anyone for an add that was not requested??
I still have not seen it, or proof copies of it.
All this crap goes back to July 2015.

Legite. It's the main number for Sensis (yellow online & white & yellow pages). Calls from their sales people or accounts people will id as that - from their many extensions 9244 **** (usually don't call unless you have an account or offering a legitimate product) Calls from them may then end with a client automated survey which id's as 92441000

a foreign person stating they want to update the sensis whitepages record. when I said I cant find your phone number on google associated with sensis, she said she will post a letter instead. What's interesting is that she had the phone number but got our companyname wrong, so it's likely to be a scam. I could be wrong however.
