third party debt collectors are illegally soliciting funds even it were for an old AGL bill. Unless they have a contract with you, you dont ever have to give them any money. Ask them to show you proof to the contract with yours and their signature on the same contract. They never can coz there isn't one, lol!!! Never ever pay a debt collector, ever!

I'm no dummy. And I thought for sure I cleared all my bills before leaving Aus for the UK. I am a VERY organised person, voted "most likely to become a 'Daily Planner Diary'" at my high school. After I got the call I managed to track down the Girl that moved into my apartment in Melb. Surprise surprise... there were 3 letters from AGL, including a final demand. I had no other contact from AGL or anyone else until the 039225200 calls. Believe it or not, don't you think it'd be worth doing a ring around of your old bill-senders anyway, just incase? Might take an hour or two, get over it.Outstanding bills can happen to anyone. SO THERE!Trust me and 'Joe Rossi' on this one.

no patience for wankers

This company claims to be a debt collection agency but they are full of s**t. I had some vapid young space cadet call me, ask my name, and then hang up. all attempts to contact their number were useless. I eventually found this forum and rang their 1300 number. When I rang some penis smoker named Nick refused to even tell me what they do and then hung up. If they were a serious debt collection agency two things strike me as odd. 1) They would want to talk to people who you had rang and 2) Even if these people were pissed off you should have enough people skills to deal with a range of issues if you really were a collection agency. After all calling people and demnding money is surely going to piss people off ! It occurs to me that hanging up on people who call you is contrary to the clients needs who have solicited you in the first place. I was then told my calls were being recorded and my number had been recorded. No s**t! They rang me so they already had it. Bunch of w**kers!

I received the same called from this number so many times! Every single time I pick up and said "hello, hello...HELLO" NO ONE answered ALSO on my mobile phone it said "called ended" 5 sec or so EVERY SINGLE TIME!

It wasn't even connected for me to wait for them to transfer me to any operator or person or computer or anything. It simply just hangs up every time I pick up.

So if it’s a debts collecting agency like some of you said then they are EXTREMLY smart to keep hanging up on the people they want money from!

ok you dummies...why would a collection agency call and then hang up when you answer??? If as you say it is a collection agency why would they not talk to you???? Why wouldn't they collect their money from you??? Please people!!!!
Put the number of the agency on this site so we can ALL call them to pay our debts that we don't have!!!

I just received one of these calls. They ended the call when I picked up, and no answer when I called back.
