this is a scam! I live in Tasmania and got a call... I havent been to Vic in years. and definately dont have any infringements owing in tas or Vic. clearly a scam. they may be a legit organisation that doesnt mean scammers wont POSE AS being from there.

they texted me, its not a scam, I forgot about my last payment for a fine I got and the details are correct. im sure from time to time they make mistakes but its not a scam, not everything is a scam!

This phone number (03) 9200 8333 is the Collections team for Civic Compliance Victoria. This is not a scam.This office have several numbers and this one is a different department. Not a scam- Pay your fines!!!!

Its not a scam. Its the number for Civic Compliance Victoria. If you are paying off speeding/parking fines etc you should call them before the Sherriff clamps your car for non payment.

I live in Brisbane and got the same text message as Nicole. I don't have any loans or payment plans either and I have never driven a car in Victoria. I suspect it's a scam because they're bound to get some people who panic and not question it and contact them. I'll bet there's someone who will happily take either their credit card details or bank account details in order to pay the "overdue payment". So beware folks. Never give your personal details out over the phone.
