I called back number (03) 9114 7840 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Same with me , they left message saying that i purchased something from PayPal

Received 2 recorded voice messages stating something about Paypal and $299.39 being deducted from my account and that I can cancel the order by pressing 1 or calling back. I don't have a Pay pal account.

Left a voice message saying Thank you for shopping with PayPal. This is a confirmation of my purchase. Message cut out at that point.

I made no puchases recently but checked PayPal and no activity. SCAM call.

Don't respond. Audio left on my mobile that a large sum had been authorised by PayPal. To click and respond. Didn't. Immediately logged into PayPal. No payment had been authorised. Paypal immediately sought my support in reconfiguring my security settings.

Scam. Left a voicemail saying I have an order for $299 and my account will be debited. Did not say where they were calling from, what the order was and did not refer to any names.
I have made no order for such an amount.

Asked me to confirm a Paypal payment or deny it by pressing '1'. I don't use Paypal so is obviously a scam

It was a robocall, female Australian accent claiming to be from PayPal regarding a debit of $200+. I didn't bother to listen to all of it. Blocked.
