They called claiming to be my electricity company to tell me that I was eligible for a discount. I was told this was a small company branch of Energy Australia however, I don't have electricity with this company at all. Beware of scammers like this who use big company names to take your details. The man had a foreign accent and called up to 3 times a day from a variety of different numbers. Most begin with the area code 03. If you are worried pick up the phone and analyse the situation. Do they have a foreign accent? Are they asking you information about you like your credit card details, your address, whether you have both electricity or gas or even what your billing number is on your household bills? Are they claiming to give you discounts or other goodies that are just to good to be true? If the answer is yes to any of them, tell them to bugger off and hang up immediately. Sometimes when you answer the phone it is silent or they hang up on you. These people are a scam!!! Beware!!!

I do that for all telmarketeers now, lay the phone down and walk away

I am waiting for a f***ing Important Call for hours and those F***ING Indian Telemarketers using a FAKE (03) 9111 0263 Australian Number they Interrupt my Concentration. I want to Barbicue them and their Boss for calling me on the phone without my permission. They do not even live in Australia. Those Telephone Companies that offer "Cheap Calls" to other countries by paying just $10 for an Australian phone Number the and their families they all need to be Barbicue just like those Crazy Muslims cal ISIS Barbicue 80 Infidels in a Brick Bread Oven for refusing to become Muslims. F**K THEM ALL Indian Telephone Terrorists.

They keep calling using different names.

This number rang today when I picked up, there was no one there. So I left the line open while i did other things for 15 mins

rings 3 times a day every time you answer they hang up...
