Weaver NEWSPAPERS! YOU ARE DEPLORABLE IN YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AT BEST YOUR WORK ETHIC IS BELOW AVERAGE. FIRST YOU OFFER ME A JOB BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCE AND THEN WHEN I DO COME IN, YOU TELL ME ITS JUST A TRIAL SHIFT. BEST TO COMMUNICATE THAT FROM THE MOMENT GO, SO WE DONT BUILD FALSE HOPE. FURTHERMORE, CHANGE YOUR TRAINING REGIME. NO ONE CAN ACTUALLY LEARN ANTHING BY NOT DOUBLE JACKING ON A CALL. WE NEED TO HEAR THE CUSTOMER AS WELL. HAVE A PROPER SYSTEM IN PLACE FOR DIALLING BUSINESSES. IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO SUCCEED AND HAVE A LONG WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU, THEN CHANGE IT UP. LASTLY, WHEN YOU SAY YOU OFFER SCHOOL FRIENDLY HOURS, FOLLOW THROUGH. BEFORE I GO, REMEMBER THE PEOPLE WHOM YOU SPEAK TO. THEY COME TO YOU FOR WORK, WITH THE PROMISE THAT YOU WILL DELIVER. NO ONE WILL WANT TO STAY ON WITH YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR LACK OF TRAINING, COMMITTMENT TO YOUR STAFF AND PROMISE TO YOUR POOR CUSTOMERS.

ARP - Australian Retirement press seems like a good job on the outside. It's when you go on the inside you know something is off.
What the work is: -This is where you start to realize what you are doing. It seems ALMOST like a scam, and honestly I was not sure if it was not. - They put you immediately on a computer with a phone (Some have landlines, some have mobile phones). - There is NO database. They have you search for things such as " Funerals, Pet Service, Realtors, etc.), On a few search bases such as the yellow-pages, google, etc. You then are cold calling people you find that are business owners. - Your goal? Sell 3-5 Minimum, of ad spots in their 'newspapers." The newspapers are online, and you don't see any recently published ones in the office. You are basically stating that you are from " such and such" and "the price for an add is this" will you give us a go? - Since you have no database, they don't care if you call the same people 2-5 times a day. They say that it's fine because it'll be another chance for someone else. Which is almost on harassment for some of these companies.
- This is a cold-calling, almost harassing telemarketer job. The pay is great, if you can stay and ethically do the work.

Yes, similar to many above. The latest is they purport to be "The Senior" newspaper say they are doing a special feature on health & you get a year's advertising. No proof of the advertising was sent. When I went to the library - no add in "The Senior". They also rang me a week later with a special deal for the "Senior's discount booklet". When you ring "The Senior" newspaper they'll tell you there are many ringing them complaining about The Weaver Newspaper & being SCAMMED. BE WARE!!!

Absolute dogs. I've complained to Fair Trading about them and am trying to get the police to take out an AVO against them for ongoing harassment. Beware consumers and even their poor young telemarketing staff.

I have been trying to contact your company for three weeks as to an advertising deal one over the phone. We have been run around and Pascal is meant to be getting back to us for three days now. Please call Andrew URGENTLY today if you wish for further business from us and if you don't wish to have last direct deposit reversed. We would prefer to have an honest, upfront company dealing with our advertising.
