Debt collector agency calling in regard to overdue bills from an old address

Dodgy. Won’t tell why they called until I gave all my private info. Told them where to go

Caller: The Probe Group but possibly a SCAMMER pretending to be Probe

This number was a woman from The Probe Group. They are a debt collector agency. However, I think this certain number might be a scam. The reason I think this is because I had received a phone call from probe last week on a private number and they were legit, I set up a direct debit with them to pay off a small overdue bill. They are a real company and my payments are paying off the bill. Now today I received a phone call from this number demanding my card details. I said I have already given my details to probe and how it's an automatic payment taken from my bank. Aka direct debit. And then I said how I can see the number she is calling me from. She squad no it should say private. I was like no I can actually see the number and it must have scared her and she hung up on me.

So, I believe this certain number may be a SCAM.
