Scam!!!

pains. always call and hang up

Received a call from (03) 9088 8433 saying that I was going to get a discount on my energy bill. She became very confused when I explained that I live in a state that only have one energy provider and that her statement was impossible (ie. couldn't happen as I couldn't swap to anyone else). Told her she should probably stop scamming people at blocked the number. This is the third number I've blocked in two weeks with similar experiences.

Obnoxious and arrogant twat that didn't want to say where he was calling from. Background call center noise. Has been blocked.

An Asian woman from Energy Connect rang my mobile about me Bill. I don’t have one it’s in my husbands name! 🤣

Caller: Ryan Giggs

Apparently Ryan Giggs called me to discuss my energy bill when I asked them to repeat their name they hung up

Caller: ‭

Said they were from Energy Australia. They had my first name and surname. When I asked where they got my number, they hung up. I’ve blocked the number.

Can these nuisance called be blocked?

Said I can get a discount for my electricity company and I said I wasn't interested. Hang up as soon as I said so. Scammers trying to make an easy buck I say...

Caller: Said they were Energy Connect

They rang wanting to compare energy plans and I told them I couldn't talk. They were going to call back that night. They didn't, instead they rang 3 times in the next ten minutes wanting information they already had. Now they phone all the time. Last time I asked to speak to a supervisor please and his response "no, hang up", after three requests I told him I wasn't hanging up to make his stats look good, he could either put me through to a supervisor or give me his name, that had him hang up on me. So now I'm just going to ask to speak to their supervisor and make them hang up with no result so their stats look bad or they can put me through to a supervisor, their choice!

Bloody nuisance want take no for an answer as soon you mention about lodging an official complaint they can’t get of the phone quick enough try to make an return call the phone is disconnected!!!!

They rang about 7 times in a row , within 5min period , I kept hanging up after the first call ..... Then I got a text saying ," peace off you bloody peace of sh*t !" ....... Very annoying , plus their insults are not even spelt correctly ! Lol

If they claim to represent Energy Connect, immediately hang up. Do not talk to them. It is an Asian scam and the phone number/s they use are computer generated in Asia and appear, from their prefix, to be coming from Australia. There is no such company as Energy Connect.

I just got this caller he even knew my name and what state I lived in . I blocked him immediately
