Keeps calling and hanging up
I blocked this number

I get loads of random unknown calls to my mobile. Because I have given my number to so few people, I never answer. Instead I look up the number online and usually find sites like this and feedback from others, which I’m really grateful for. I figure if it’s important or urgent, they can leave a voicemail.

Rings 3-4 times a week about Energy account, I always say stop calling me.
This needs to stop.

Caller: Utilities bills comparing company?

I missed a called and they left no message. I called back from a BLOCKED number and received a message that they were a Utilities bills comparing company and that they only worked weekdays Monday to Friday and were closed. But they called me at lunch time on a Saturday?? So I am blocking them.

I get called by this company every week. I tell them every time (when I answer) to stop calling me.

Some type of pushy salesman trying to get you to change electricity providers. Have blocked multiple numbers of similar derivative and they just keep calling!!! Block number straight away!

does anyone understand the point of this 'scam'? what do they get out of it? just curious, have received a couple of these calls.

I don't normally answer my phone after hours but I decided to answer this because they keep calling around 7.30pm and I wanted to confirm its a scam.

When I answer total silence, after about 30 - 60 seconds I heard an automated 'goodbye'.

I don't know why the 'experts' at Telstra don't put a stop to these scam numbers.

Its getting worse but these corporations do nothing.

I called back number (03) 9088 1962 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.
