Caller: Benefit something or other

Fairly apologetic, but Electricity Account slamming shop.
This bock of IP telephone numbers is well known for this kind of thing.

Take away their financial incentive and they will stop.

I got a call from this number but the incoming call was from the last person I dialled overseas! I was very thrown and angry that it turned out to be a telemarketing company and will try investigate this further as I’m worried they have managed to hack my phone list agh!

Caller: Benefit Scheme

Started calling me around 6:30pm. I let the first two calls go unanswered, but picked up the third one around 7:20pm (so 3 calls in an hour). OS call centre I think.

Caller said this was also about electricity plans. I cut him off mid-sentence and asked to have my details removed from their database and to not call my number again. The operator seemed a bit thrown off by that, but said "sure". I said thanks and ended the call.
