Calls from, ravenhall, Fulham, port putrid, maggot creek, MAP, dame phyllis, MRC etc all come from this number regardless of prison or prisoner.

Caller: My brother from the MRC The call came from the metropolitan remand centre (MRC) and it was an inmate. It’s possible this number is used for a number of prisons, not necessarily just this one

Caller: Victoria Correction Centre Missed a call from this number. They called me back straight after I missed the first one, wasn’t going to answer the second call as I had never seen the number before. Turns out it was my boyfriend calling me from MAP (Melbourne Assessment Prison)
