I work for Electricity Wizard and it would not have been a cold call - you've either left your details on the website or registered interest via other means (eg, survey, deal with another company, etc.).
Or someone else has entered your details on the site

Received a missed call, left no message. Apparently they're a market research company. They call numbers on the DNC list, I lodged a complaint and apparently market research companies are exempt - what's the point having a DNC register if these people are exempt?
Anyway, I contacted them to take my number off their list. I suggest everyone does this, as complaining to ACMA is useless as this harassment is perfectly legal.

Two calls on mobile, listed as missed calls. I don't often turn on the mobile as one gets too many crank calls. Anyone wants to contact me can send an SMS.
Pre-fix 03 suggests it's a Melbourne number, fixed line.
Looks like another complaint about unwanted calls has to be submitted to my provider.

I did the same thing. When I realised it would mean being put on a call list, I cancelled out - too late apparently!
Electricity wizard: I DON'T want phone calls! All I wanted was a quick comparison online, NOT a sales pitch.
And IF you are going to call, at least have the decency to leave a message. You win no customers when you leave no message.

I clicked on a link from the Sydney Morning Herald and entered my number with an online comparison, it then asked for my contact details... name address etc and I never pressed enter on the second screen and they called my the next day as well!

Electricity Wizard - It's simple, if I don't answer the second time around then clearly I'm no longer interested. Alternatively you can leave a voice message.

Calling me twice a day - when I answer, the call drops. Annoying as anything. Might lodge an unwelcome calls report through my provider...

I was getting calls from this number and after finding out where they were coming from(Electricity Wizard) I simply called them on their 1300 732 029 number and asked why they kept calling me. They were unable to explain how my number got into their system but kindly removed my number at my polite request. Hopefully I will not receive anymore calls from them.

4 times a day for last 4 weeks, these people are a pain, have now blocked their number. This must be harassment.
