Same person again. Just an update, I went ahead and went through the enrolment and everything. It's all government run and funded and it's entirely legit... That being said I personally wouldn't trust the government to do the best by me, and so when they gave me the cost of the course... $20,000... I thought that was a bit much to pay, and I was right. Polytechnic west and tafe both offer the same services and courses for a price of $3,000. So I guess it's entirely a preference thing and I personally prefer the cheaper option that gives you exactly the same training and qualifications... Just with less flashy extras like iPads! It's for courses using the government vet fee and they call you whilst your active on seek. It's really annoying as I have been actively looking for a few months now so everytime they ring me and I say I'm not interested a month later another person tries I've been offered it about 4 times and the last time I asked that they stop calling me and surprise surprise they tried again today! They are so frustrating

Got a call from this number, thought it was a telemarketer but was actually just an employment councilor, he actually helped me with work/study optons, although I didnt go ahead with it because im expecting a baby it was still good for me to know it was avaliable. Yee I got phone call few day ago regards job search and I asked him to send me all his info to my email and he said he will but did not happen. I even asked him does he has my email and he said yes. So was (03) 9034 8014 scam ???

I received a call from these people. They said that they had noticed that I had been applying for jobs via the internet??How they knew this I don't know but I have my resume posted on the SEEK website. I asked how they got my mobile phone number and they gave me some mumbled answer that didn't make sense. In my opinion they are are quite suspect and I would advise people not to give them any information. I told them that if the call was not regarding a genuine job offer and if they were selling me something I was not interested. I am concerned that they are preying on vulnerable people looking for employment. Simply hang up and or ask them not to call again. I am a little worried as to how they were able to access my personal details.Another suggestion is to register on the the "Do Not Call"website.

This number is of a representative of the company Acquired Learning they are promoting Diploma course study utilising the government VET fee help system. Research them properly before agreeing to any course of study.
